Training Style

I’m a performance-focused coach with a variety of influencers in my training methods. For workouts, I use both heart rate and paces with the cardinal rule of stress and adaptation. I enjoy getting as much feedback from my athletes as possible in order to adjust training individually. Training is more than just what you do, but rather about what your body can absorb. Each training session should have a specific purpose and I work with my athletes to build a complete plan that makes sense for them. I enjoy helping other runners reach their goals and helping athletes see the whole picture of training, including the mental aspect, nutrition, sleep, and recovery. I look forward to hopefully working together and helping you reach your full potential.

Brad Hudson

Brad started running at age 9 and even ran his first marathon by age 12! As one of the top runners in the country in Hight School, Brad finished 6th place and 3rd place at the National High School Cross Country Championships. He was even the National indoor 5,000m record holder.

Brad went on to become an All-American at the University of Oregon, coached by the legendary Bill Dellinger. After graduating, Brad stepped onto the professional scene for 10 years, highlighted by running a Marathon PR of 2:13:23.

As a coach, Brad has worked with countless Elite runners and established himself as one of the most prominent coaches in the United States, having coached 3 different Olympians. Brad is also a published author of 3 running books (Run Faster, Black Book Redux, Young Runner). As a fun fact, Brad had a cameo in the famous movie about Steve Prefontaine (Without Limits).
