Coach's Accomplishments

Training Style

I believe, that like everything in life, to truly achieve your goals, you have to thoroughly enjoy the process and journey along the way. All the little things matter and those small mid-process goals all add up to allow you to achieve your end of season target. This is something I’ve learned as a professional long distance runner – one of my favorite things about a marathon or other goal race training-block, is the build itself because of the challenges it presents on a weekly basis and all the great people it allows me to meet; the end race itself is the cherry on top of a good training block!

I love working with athletes and helping them put into words their dreams and goals, and I strive to help my athletes achieve their training and racing goals by believing in their individual process. I want to push each athlete to be the most well rounded runner they can be, by working on trust, enjoying the process by focusing on one day or week at a time, and setting big scary goals with smaller more achievable goals along the way! Training and racing should be something fun to look forward to, so I want to work with athletes schedules to make sure they are able to achieve their goals while enjoying all the other things they love to do as well.
